Exodus From Egypt: Sergey Bunkov, Oleg Agashkov, Maxim Bunkov
Imagin yourself a jew exiting Egypt holding a camera. Upon leaving, a new project comes to mind – a project which entails collaboration by means of artificial intelligence which comes naturally…
‘Exodus From Egypt’ is a collaborative project involving a visual artist, a musician, and a graphic designer.
Sergey Bunkov, an artist- *the initiator
Oleg Agashkov, a musician- video art, sound
Maxim Bunkov, a graphic designer and a student at Bezalel- AR animation, design, AI
These three artists depict the story as it is imparted in the legend by using state of the art technology. This project started out as a series of multi-colored collages which depict the legend. Six animated illustrations were supposed to lighten up the reading at the Passover Seder, but in the process, new ideas came up and color schemes were altered. In order to reflect the intensity and density of present times in Israel, and to reflect the notion of time standing still pictures depicting the exodus became darker and human figures became transparent like jellyfish carried away by the waves. Nevertheless, these people are also well defined, as they search for the promised land, and are lighter in color in comparison to the background,
Visitors will be able to watch the animation on their cellular phones using an application. Video art and music especially created and composed for this exhibition are also incorporated.
